About The Event
Remembrance Day Mass — November 11, 2026
All are warmly invited to join us at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Wednesday, November 11, at 12:10 p.m. for a special Remembrance Day Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. John Domotor.
Our Lady Queen of Peace holds a unique place in Canada's history. Established through the efforts of Rev. Fr. Anselm Wood, a First World War military chaplain, our church was built as a Canadian war memorial dedicated to the sailors, soldiers, airmen and nurses who lost their lives during the Great War. On this day, we gather not only to remember their sacrifice, but also to pray for all who have lost their lives in war, for those who continue to serve, and for lasting peace throughout the world.
As a church founded in remembrance and dedicated to Our Lady Queen of Peace, we are especially mindful of the responsibility carried by each generation to honour the fallen and work toward a more peaceful future.
Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer and remembrance.
Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for us.
