— FEAST DAYS —

Feast Days & Liturgical Highlights

Throughout the year, the Church sets aside particular days to celebrate important events in the life of Christ and to remember Mary and the saints. The word feast simply means a day of celebration. These days have different levels of importance in the liturgical calendar — Solemnities, Feasts, Memorials and Optional Memorials — and help the Church remember its story as part of its worship today.
