The Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael honours the three archangels named in Sacred Scripture. St. Michael is traditionally associated with the defence of God’s people, St. Gabriel with the announcement of God’s saving plan, and St. Raphael with healing, guidance and protection.

Together, the archangels remind the faithful of the unseen spiritual world and of God’s care for His people. Their feast is celebrated each year on September 29.
