We are delighted to announce the arrival and installation of a brand-new commercial dishwasher in our parish kitchen.
Our former dishwasher served Our Lady Queen of Peace faithfully for more than 40 years. Although we are grateful for its many years of service, the time had come for its very well-deserved retirement. Its replacement is a modern, high-temperature sanitizing machine that, once heated and ready, completes a standard load in approximately 90 seconds.
Above all, we give thanks to God for this wonderful and much-needed improvement to our parish facilities. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Father John for his leadership and continued commitment to the care and renewal of our parish, and to Parish Council for its support of this important project.

Most especially, we thank the many generous donors whose contributions made the purchase of this new machine possible. Whether large or small, every gift represented a commitment to the life of our parish and to the many volunteers, ministries and gatherings that make use of our kitchen.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Russell Hendrix for supplying the new dishwasher and assisting us throughout the process; to the Hobart technician for his professional installation and helpful operational guidance; and to Kobalt for preparing our electrical panel to accommodate the new equipment. Their combined expertise and assistance helped make this important parish improvement possible.
If you have any questions about the new dishwasher or would like assistance before using it, please contact the parish office. For everyone’s safety, please do not operate the machine unless you have first been shown how to use it properly.
May this new addition serve our parish community faithfully for many years to come!
